I have the basic gauges in my 2014 Silverado (RCSB). Is it possible for me to swap clusters? I know sometimes plug-and-play connections exist for options the particular truck doesn't have.

Hopefully one of the guys on here who works in a shop can get you a better answer, but I wouldn't count on anything being plug and play in these trucks. Saw a forum earlier hosted by GTPprix who said he could handle the reprogramming for Denali clusters, maybe PM him and pick his brain?

I'm sure it had nothing to do with it was only Saturday and I still have a littttttle bit of a life? LOL :) Yes it can be done, you may have to add hardware IE steering wheel controls. Also would need to add an HMI if you don't have one to get some of the screens IE infotainment integration.

I think your best bet is to take it to a dealer. They can convert your truck into a LTZ magically.

I wonder what that would cost?

The smart guys aren't allowed breaks!

I'm looking at getting the 8" screen as well.

How would I acquire the steering wheel controls?

I wish!

I bought a new high resolution cluster and installed it in my '14 Silverado 2WT. Gauges all work but the DIC does not since no steering wheel controls and no BCM program. So I converted my WT cluster by swapping in the chrome rings and replacing the gauge faces with 2016 blue tic faces.

That looks great. I'm considering making a swap in my 2015 Silverado 2500 Duramax. It's a WT and I would like to add the cluster from an LTD to have the side ways LCD screen. Someone at my chevy dealer said if I add the Steering wheel controls, that it will work perfectly fine. However a shop online said " I can't program your vin" when I provided them with it. When I told the dealer that, he said not to worry and that he could. Has this swap been done? Thank you

Dealers cant do anything with clusters other than OEM programming for the exact cluster your truck shipped with for your exact vin. We do all of the conversion cluster programming for dealers, aftermarket etc. We can make it work properly, drop us a line and we'll get you taken care of.
