Wheel cleaning/ Maintinence.

Hello guys/ gals.

I live in North Dakota/ Minnesota, so we have snow and very cold temps for atleast 5-6 months a year (Fargo, ND rated 2nd coldest city in USA over 50K population), I picked up some Mickey Thompson classic simulated bead lock wheels with Mickey Thompson ATZ tires in 265/70/17's for a good price to replace my stock and pitting 16inch gm wheels. My question is the following, What do you guys use to clean up your wheels, and what do I have to look for to keep these wheels top notch.

You can use whatever brand products but use an aluminum/clearcoat safe wheel cleaner to get all the crap off first (brake dust, etc.). I would seal and wax too and do it before you put them on the truck so you can do the face and the inside of the wheel real good. I use Adams Polishes products. Their deep wheel cleaner is sweet.

I wouldn't hesitate to put some sort of clearcoat on them but also cleaning them frequently would be very helpful

AIM Purple dragon. Use it at my body shop all day long

Try aluminium acid cleaner. I have used it in the past. It gives very good results.
