12k mile service?

I dont have my manual with me and not sure where I can look it up online. I have had my truck at 4 different dealers in the last year. Only one of them sent me a letter saying my truck was do for the 12k mile service. What do they do for that?

If it's like my dealer, they've invented their own maintenance schedule.

Yea, its kinda funny for the first time in my life im putting on what they call normal mileage, about 12k miles this year. Like clock work every 3 months I get an email from my selling dealer that's it time for service. Going by what they call normal mileage I should get one every six or seven months.

The manual doesn't have anything for 12k mile service. It does have 15k mile service but its only oil change and rotate tires.

 

Rotate tires and perform Required Services.

Check engine oil level and oil life percentage.

this is what annoys me about some people/companies. the average user is too stupid to even verify if its a required maintenance. i like to call them out on it.
