Grinding Noise

I have a 2002 chevy silverado 1500, while driving to work last Friday all of the sudden i hear a grinding noise coming from the front end. It mostly makes noise while going 30 mph and up and when i let of the throttle there is a howling noise.

That would be in the "not good catagory "

 

So take it in to a shop ,

 

Internet is not that good diagnosing stuff lol

 

Something went boom and a tech will find it rather easily

What was it guys? Something related to the fan clutch?

Sounds like a classic hub bearing went out. Jack up the front and check the wheel at the 12 & 6 position.
