Hey all. New Silverado owner here. I have driven Fords all my driving life (Im 41 been driving since I was 16) This is my first Chevrolet vehicle. My old 2001 Ford F150 XLT crapped out on me last week and it was time for a new vehicle, repairs were getting more then what the truck was worth and it was time to bite the bullet.

 

My wife's nephew is a salesman for a Chevrolet dealer so I decided to give them a try. He was great to work with and gave me no bullcrap. Got a good deal for the trade in on my old truck and got a great deal on a new 2014 Silverado 1500 LT with the all star package, sticker price was 37,785 and my out the door price was 30,335, Not a bad deal IMO.

 

I am super happy with it right now, way more truck then I need option wise but if I am going to keep this truck for years then I might as well get something I am going to enjoy.

 

After all these years driving a Ford truck it is odd driving a Silverado :driving: It is alot boxier then the Ford and I need to get used to pulling in and out of parking spaces, the corners on this beast is hard to see!
