Trail Grapplers vs Toyo MT Tread Life

I'm sure this comes up a lot. I somewhat know how the toyo MT is going to perform family member uses them exclusively on his sierra and is getting phenomenal wear out of them. 55K on his last set and this new set is doing well also.

Cheapest i can find a 295/55/20 Toyo MT is 350-370$ a tire. I can get Trail Grapplers for 338$ a tire with free shipping. Problem though is i find the Trail Graps to have such mixed reviews it makes me want to stray away from them. I see plenty of people in town with them and they do wear worse than toyos, but if you look at the tread design they're a more aggressive tire.

I had thought i would go with a Toyo RT, or another aggressive all terrain but given the price i'm just going to go MT most likely.

I have trails but I don't put many miles down in the truck so I can't comment on the wear. From what I've read and heard, they do well. And since Nitto is owned by Toyo, I'd expect a quality product. But I do agree that nothing looks better than the toyo MT.

I feel the Trail Graps look more aggressive and mean than the Toyo MT and in reality they are. But I've read mixed reviews on the Trail Grapplers. Some they do just as well as the Toyo others say they'e horrible and will never own another set.

Will likely suck it up and spend 350$ a tire on Toyos. Less that local guy is still selling his trail graps for 250$ a tire, that is impossible to pass up.
