I am guessing majority of the people around here are in somewhere pretty cold during winter? What are your truck build dates?

Best I can figure from the door pillar sticker is 10/2014 on mine.

love my new profile picture of my Tahoe skimming amphibiously across the Puget Sound.

LOL Can I get a higher resolution of that!!?

I am not sure what mine is. I am at work site for another 10 days, i will check when I get back to my truck then. I think it was may 2014 though.

Went out for dinner outside of camp last night, it was above 0 c, GPS is still out... :(

Someone is going to get a dirty call :ughdance:

This complaint must be closely linked to water intrusion through a faulty antenna seal, which then damages the antenna or shorts something out. Ridiculous. There is a separate thread on just water intrusion through the antenna seal.

Anyone have any luck getting this fixed yet? My dealer is telling me the part is still on backorder. Supposedly they're checking with GM daily and there's no ETA on the part's availability.

Picked up my new 2015 Sierra from the dealer on 1/20/16 - noticed the exact same problems on the way home (compass showing 'CAL', OnStar not working and LED is illuminated red). I'm wondering exactly what components these two systems have in common.

Hope someone reports what the issue is and how to fix ASAP - OnStar I will never miss, compass would be a nice toy to have, but the pleasant (but soon to become very irritating, I'm sure) voice that tells me "this truck is in OnStar Demo mode, please call OnStar to find out more about this exciting product! ", I could do without!

Noticed when I wiggle to shark-fin antenna side to side quite a bit of water squeezes out from under it, although there has been no precipitation for a couple of weeks now. Not sure if this is just water caught between the inner/outer seal area or something more sinister...

Build date: 11/14, Fort Wayne, IN

My service rep called to let me know my module finally came in. I won't be taking it in til Monday, so I'll report right afterwards.

I haven't noticed any leaking. They are replacing the onstar module. I'll get the part number once I take my truck in.
