Truck won't start

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra 4wd with 800 miles on it. Went to the store in it this morning and it started fine. Went out to start again after I got home and it won't even turn over. All accessories work, everything lights up. It won't jump start and I'm getting a service 4wd message. Which I haven't even engaged yet. Any info would be helpful.

This may be a long shot but, I had a similar issue with my car two days ago, turns out it was a small connector that was off on my starter. Connected back up and cranked like normal. JuSt no 4WD message which is why I said similar and with a vehicle 20 years old lol.

That service 4wd message seems to be a catch-all. My 2008 had a chronic misfire problem, and that service 4wd light popped up a few times.

I remember someone had their truck die after going to the store. Called dealer who took it on a flatbed wrecker and ended up having the PCM replaced. In any event, i would call the dealer first thing.

Sounds dumb, but make sure the shifter is firmly in the Park position.

Appreciate all the input. I'm having it towed to dealer in the morning. Will update when I find out what the problem is.

I found some old threads about fuel pressure and it reminded me there were some fuel pump failures on 2014's that caused lack of starts, but not sure if the service 4WD drive message is pertinent. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
