Hey I currently own a Camaro SS but I live in NY so the car isn't practical. Probably going to wait until next year but I like to do my research early. I'm looking at a possible 2016 chevy silverado 2500 HD LTZ. What's the pros and cons of the truck? What should I look out for and what's a fair price for a fully loaded 2500? All help is appreciated greatly

Well there's not really any info on the '16. But, why a 2500 Duramax? Just because it's cool? I wouldn't get a Duramax unless you use it to tow. The maintenance alone isn't worth it unless you need a diesel. Just my opinion. Of course get what you want if you have the money, I can't tell you what to do. Just go to a lot and look around at the '15s, you might find one you like and get one without having to wait for the '16s. I don't think there's going to be any difference between the '15s and '16s.

I would definatley drive one before you make up your mind.. They ride and drive a lot different then a half ton, they are rougher and some people don't like that.. Motor and trans are unbeatable though IMO

yeah I'm pretty sure the 2015 and 2016 are going to be identical I haven't seen any word of a redesign considering that the current model was just designed recently lol I need something that I can keep for a very long time. I know diesels you can put 500 k on them and they run like brand new the same cannot be said for gasoline engines. I do have friends who have boats and trailers for quads and I plan on buying things that need to be towed.

plus the 2500 is bad ass, The crew cab especially with the short bed because I don't need a long bed. And I definitely can afford the maintenance

I drive diesel busses for a living and other large vehicles so I'm not worried about the ride and I drive a Camaro in NY lol they don't ride like clouds haha

Yeah my Dmax is much more comfortable than my EvoX was. The worst riding vehicle ive ever driven is the fleet F250. I checked, and it literally has the same suspension as a shopping cart. The only reason i got a dmax was so we could haul our atvs and a holiday trailer.
