Removing The Grill On a 2015 Silverado?

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAL HOW TO REMOVE A GRILLE FROM A 2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO? IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. THANKS

If it's anything like the 15 Tahoe, and judging by the looks of the tabs on the bottom of the grille it is, then these steps should guide you. Granted there will be differences in getting the bumper off, the general premise should be the same.

 

Iirc these are pretty much the steps.

 

1. Jack up one side or both. Doesn't matter but I did only one side.

2. Remove wheel(s).

3. Remove bolts/screws from the fender liner. I only did the front half or so, just to allow me room to work.

4. Remove 2 bolts (7 or 10mm) I don't remember, they hold the bumper facia in place near the headlight. Again I only did one side.

5. Remove 4 or 5 bolts that run under the suv that hold the facia in place.

6. Pop the hood and remove the dust cover.

7. Remove the 4 or 5 bolts on top of the grille holding it in place.

8. I then just hinged the loose side of the bumper outward to give me access to the Row of tabs on the bumper facia that the grille snaps into. I used a bucket and towels to rest the bumper facia on while I did this, but an extra set of hands would be ideal.

9. Once the grill is out snap the new one in and reverse the process.

 

Once you've done it, it's not at all difficult and anyone with the most basic of hand tools and ability can tackle.
