Ses light turned off after code was set

I had a trouble code for knock sensors on my 99 silverado 6.0. Planned on buying the parts to do the job when money was available. But tonight on the way home from work my Ses light wasn't on anymore. It still works comes on during start up. Should I not bother doing my knock sensors? Unless the code comes back of course.

If you have the time and money now might as well get it over with. Chances are it will be back on soon. There's a tsb for them too so make sure you follow the instructions for that. I believe they want you to remove the foam from under the front of the intake and build a dam out of rtv in front the knock sensor holes to prevent water intrusion. Also it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the harness while you're in there.
