Blown Fuel Pump Fuse

Anyone else have their 2015 gas 2500 start to blow fuel pump fuses after it runs for 30 seconds or so? Just wondering if this is another "design feature" of these trucks?

I doubt it funny guy , take it in you'll get a brand new pump for free!!!

Nope, they can't replicate. Apparently a ride on a flatbed makes it heal itself. Like I said it's a feature, supposed to do that. Nice to have a new truck that is of the lowest quality I have ever owned.

Tell them the story about the fuse , ask for a new pump ,, or leave it with them, or call regional svc manger , sit down with all of them !!!

Get mad at them !!!!!!

I've done what you suggested and THEY DO NOT care. Two blown fuses and the truck was towed in. I see you are or were a GM tech. Just so you know the dealer wants to work on fixing it, GM will not allow them to. I am now on a mission to make certain I can inform people of how GM handles their customers.

Have you tried to contact the gm rep here , Trisha is her name ,

If the dealer wants to they will throw a pump in it and claim the job , so that makes no sense to me that gm won't let them ,

The claim has to be audited and rejected before the dealer will eat it so idk what that means ,

Not sure why they don't get that the pump is drawing to much blowing the fuse , it's an easy diag IMHO,

Yes I twisted a wrench or 2 for a few franchises , they all suck and I own toyotas for a reason , I was little sick of of having brand ne veh's on my hoist , I have complete ignorance on toyos problems and am good with that

Good luck and sorry about the sell the truck crack but it seemed the only thing to do lol,

Scan your receipts and PM them to me , I'd like to read them ... Really like to read them

Been a long time, they still refuse to do anything about this or any of my other issues. They have as much as told me to go find another dealer, which to me means brand too. The regional manager, and field engineers have supposedly looked at me truck and none of the multiple issues I have are real. It is operating as designed. Go GM. I have recently elevated this again and am in discussions.
