Pandora cuts in and out

Hi everyone, im a proud new owner of a 2015 Silverado LT. I love it except for the fact that my pandora radio sucks. It works fine for like 30-40 seconds, then pauses/skips around, then its fine again. A friend of mine has the same mylink in his impala, and he recommended i tried using a music app called spotify. Well i tried that, and it still does the same thing...am i the only one with this issue?

I stream music via blue tooth, and it skips like a damn CD from time to time. The way the damn HD radio kicks in, and out, reception sucks, Bluetooth skips, guess I need to download music to a thumb drive

Did you happen to have a navigation route entered? I have found that some software dev inside GM somewhere was nice enough to think about pausing the Pandora stream if the navigation voice comes on to give directions. However, they were not smart enough to check if voice navigation is turned off. So you'll get complete silence where there would be voice instructions if it wasn't disabled.

Integration testing fail on GM's side.

I'm convinced that some of the MyLink/Bluetooth issues are related to the phone.

I have a Samsung GS5... music streaming to Pandora in my Silverado works perfectly with no issues, but in my wife's 2013 Equinox, it's a pain in the ass! Cuts in and out, works sometimes, other times no. Very unpredictable and frustrating.

My wife has a Samsung GS3. Everything I just stated is exactly the opposite with her phone. Works great in her Equinox with no problem, in Silverado, it sucks.

I have a galaxy note 3. I dont know if that matters, but i am thinking about trying my fiances iphone. Ill be honest, i love the truck, but this REALLY REALLY bothers me.

i have a galaxy s5 and mine cuts out a lot for the first few songs then it clears up. almost like its buffering bluetooth audio or something. its not the phones for sure, its the headunits and placement of your phone. i wish i knew where the bluetooth antenna in the truck was.

I have a 2014 silverado and use the iPhone 6 and have no issues at all. I use a cord and have my phone plugged into the center console. The only time mine mutes is when I receive a phone call or some alert on my phone. If I don't want it to do that I switch my phone to vibrate and no issues.

I got a msg on my iPhone 6+ this weekend that said my cord wasn't an approved accessory. For the last week or I've noticed Pandora sometimes stops and says it doesn't have a connection. When used over bluetooth, it's fine. Maybe my cable is getting worn out or something? I can't imagine why all a sudden the cable is giving me grief when it's worked fine for so long.

cable + usb port + ios version. It can be any of those 3. My ios 8 is no longer working on my ihome dock. really annoying, considering it worked find ios 6 and some of ios7 versions.

I have an Motorola HD and it does the 'CD' skip thing too but it has nothing to do with Mylink/Intellilink. It does in my 99 Tahoe and 2005 Silverado both with after market HUs. I have had luck going in to the phone and disabling the Amazon music app and then Pandora and BT streaming works fine. Apparently, the Amazon apps is using a huge amount of RAM on the phone.
