What's up with the photo filters?!

Just an observation/rant .... What is up with all the ridiculous filters on photos? I understand that it makes everyone "artsy" but when you're posting about stuff you've done and then attach a photo that's been edited past visual recognition, what's the point .

 

Like... Just color matched my bedside emblem....

 

 

Some of the HDR editing makes for some sweet photos,I agree. But use some restraint. And no, I'm not an "old timer", no offense old timers

 

Maybe I'm just bored and it's getting cold outside so I'm just trying to stir the pot. Bash away if you must, I can take it. (like an overuse of emojis ^^ lol)

 

I don't mean to offend, just laughing as i scroll through the threads. Am I alone on this?
