Intellilink Radio - Band Name Display?

Is there a way to display what band/song is playing on each of your favorite SiriusXM channels? My wife's Jeep has this and it's great on long rides to radio surf by checking out which band is playing on each of the favorite stations, rather than have to tune to each station to find out what's on.

Not that I know of, but it would be a nice feature. I did re-label several of the "soft buttons" so that I could select genre without remembering each station number. But I still have to select it to find out what is actually playing.

Man, that sucks. This is my favorite feature in the wife's Jeep stereo. I always channel surf and wind up listening to more interesting music when I can see who is playing rather than "settling" for a decent song. Basically, it's like having a channel guide for your radio.

Yes, I've done this...Not sure of the terminology but off the XM screen, I think I hit browse or something and hit it again and again to cycle from station, to band, to song.

Adam,

This is not quite as cool as your wife's Jeep, but when listening to a band you like, reach over to the bottom right of screen and hit options icon. A menu pops up and like the 2nd to bottom choice is something like Manage Tunes. Touch it and you'll get a menu to save the playing artist or song. I also think you can save genre or something else. Touch artist and then OK. Complete all this before your favored song is over. From now on any saved artists, playing on any XM channel will generate a message in the DIC and Mylink screen telling you that so and so is playing on channel 50 or whatever. When you see the message, just press the center check mark button on the right side of your steering wheel and it will change to the channel automatically.

My gf's Jeep Grand Cherokee is better in almost every way than these trucks. Radio displays so much more, back up camera is in 1080p vs our 240p backup camera. If I liked suvs, I would of got a jeep grand Cherokee instead. The msrp on her jeep was less than my truck too. But I prefer trucks to suvs

these displays in the trucks are rather worthless unless you have Nav. You can't watch videos, or even post a back ground picture as wallpaper.

Talk to me when it hits 50,000 miles and is falling apart.

Exactly, or just look up reviews on them and see how everyone says they're great... when they're not in the shop.
