I had the cats cut off my 07 silverado now engine light says p0430 running to rich what's the best thing to do here Didn't have a choice that day they didn't have my cats in stock plus I was out of town

Get a tune such as blackbear to have them "tuned out". Or either pay to get some new ones welded on. Either way its gonna cost yah some $$$$.

 

Why did you get them cut off out of curiosity ?

Running rich is unlikely related to the missing cats.

Correct me if I'm wrong but running rich would be the first set of 02 sensors. The second set should merely read catalyst efficiency low if the cats are removed

You get a cookie!

 

PO4030 is NOT a rich code, it is a catalyst efficiency code out of range. Since the cats are gone you'll get that code all day long until tune out the post cat sensors, replace the cats, etc......
