I think he meant "spring" compressor.

Judging by the looks of you garage and workbench, you run a tight ship. I noticed you poked bolts into cardboard so you knew where they went.

Good luck with the rebuild!

aping compressor?[/quoti saw that lol, dam auto correct lol

Oh Okay yea I been using a drill press and a home made compressor from some steel and all thread and deep sockets. So far it's worked fine, I've been able to get everything apart.

Starting to put things back together. The kit came.

There's a lot of seals in the kit, looks like I be forever just to use them all.

I heard it is a good idea to soak all the clutches and brakes in trans fluid for quite a time before installing them.

Maybe someone can confirm if it's true.

I like your courage. I'd never pop the trans out of my truck and gut it on a bench.

Respect and good luck getting it back together and working.

Update,

Got the trans back in and everything put back together. Took it out for a test drive with no issues, shifts smooth and no more shudder.

I've only got about 25 miles on it so far but so far so good.

Thanks everyone for your in put.
