leather seats and car seats

How does everyone mount their car seats in the back on leather seats? I'm not really worried about the seat, but the damn squeaking, the seat against the leather makes, drives me nuts! I keep taking the seat in and out so i don't have to hear it, but that's becoming a pain every time I want to take the truck with my kiddos

I use a "Munchkin Car-seat Protector" and black bath towels(to match black interior) from wal-mart underneath the car-seat. Works perfect and no indention's on my leather seats, also no noises.

That's kinda what I was thinking if my safety conscious wife will let me put something under it. I saw one in a showroom truck that covered the whole backseat, but of course I don't see it on chevy's website as an accessory

I've got one of those too.

In both of out vehicles, we've used two old floor mats turned upside-down. Works like a champ. Before that - I also used the black towel option.

Use a protector of some type, I have seen holes worn into a leather seat from a carseat. I took a towel and had 2 button holes put in it where the headrest posts are to hold it in place. The towel was soft on the seat, didnt make noise and you can throw it in the wash and it was cheap. Hard plastic rubbing on the leather seat will cause damage.

If your seat squeaks, it's not in tight enough. Mine don't budge hardly an inch with a hard push. They certainly don't move when nobody is using them.
