I agree with f8i, the low speed driving is clunky to say the least, very undecided on which gear it should be in when clearly it should be in 1st but seems to go from 1st to 2nd and back and fourth like a tennis match at times. What's weird is most times it drives perfect. No where near as bad as some make it out to be though, but I'm a 20+ year gm truck owner and driver, the clunk is not the trans it's the slip yoke imo and every gm truck I have had has done it from my 89 s10 Baja to my new sierra a/t so I'm use to it and it really doesn't effect me much and truthfully only does it on occasion.

Overall I'm happy so far 3 months in with my purchase low speed trans shifting issues and all, best thing you can do is take a 15 for a test drive or better yet maybe a dealer will let you take one home for the night to make sure you will like it.

ok well this sucks! wife and i spent last 3hrs at dealer trying to get a deal done. we wanted to order a truck and all they wanted to was give all the incentives with nothing else. basically was only $1300-$1500 away from pulling this off. told me that they "wouldn't be making any money, losing money ". so back to the drawing board. just so heartbroken because we really want this truck.
