Thanks. Trail grapplers. 295/55/20r. Going 4" lift and 35's when I wear these bald. The longer I have this truck the more I think it's too much rim and not enough rubber.

Thanks for the info. for what its worth I love the look!! hows the road noise and are the rough. I do a lot of driving with my truck so I am having to be a little conservative with what tire I go with.

Wonderful trucks in this thread. I was all prepared for this color, but then went with a '17 and didn't like that color in person.

I'll still live vicariously through you folks.

NO, the "closest" color was something else. It looked kinda dark green or dark blue in certain lights. I think it was just called "Graphite Metallic." It looked okay to me in pictures, but that cloudy day at the dealer, was not a fan.

They discontinued iridium metallic for GMC, not sure about chevy's tungsten.

It's nice to hear you say that. I want to a run a 33" and I can't decide between 18" or 20" wheels. I seem to change my mind by the hour

Heres mine,

- '16 6.2 AT

- 2.5" RC level.

- 275/65/R20 (34.1") Nitto Ridge Grapplers. (no rubbing)

- Flowmaster super 50 with resonator and flap delete.

- Air Lift 5000 Ultimate air bags with wireless air.

- RC Assist steps.

- Plasti dipped my stock rims to matte anthracite. (eventually will powder coat)

- Emblems have 3M carbon fiber decals (really changed the look of the truck)

Also have the black bear performance tuner but I still need to log my data in first so they can unleash this trucks true potential! Love my truck and it's color (although I feel it chips very easily) all I want to do now if get rid of all the chrome and color match, so if anyone wants some chrome mirror caps and door handles, I'll trade ya!

Dude the chips in this paint. Best $30 I ever spent was for the touch up thing at the dealership. Paint pen/brush and clear. I probably fix a peck a week. This is either the weakest paint job I've had or I just didn't care as much about the others.

I know, I swear my truck is magnetic for random rocks on the road. I have one of those pens from the dealer, just haven't done it yet because i'm afraid i'll screw it up haha. Been watching youtube videos and doesn't seem that bad. Might give it a shot here soon, any tips? They did discontinue the color, so makes me wonder why, but its worth the pain, color is so sharp!

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
