2015i Denali HD JL Audio Stealth Box Problems

This truck has started to become an issue for me and it has less than 800 miles on it.

The 2015i Denali has the new head unit with 4g WiFi hot spot and the Bose system (I think all Denali's have the Bose system default). I took my truck to a local audio shop that I've been using for years and they installed a JL Stealth Box with a HD750/1. I simply wanted a little more bass, I don't jam out at high volumes.

Went to pick it up and it sounded like shit, at low (1/3) volume the subs over power everything, and at higher volumes (up to max) the system just sound muddy and tinny. They pulled the audio source from the Bose sub the first time. The sub isn't in step with the volume control of the head unit. Thus every time I change audio sources, adjust the volume, and at times different songs, I have to also adjust a separate volume control going to the the sub.

Next they pulled the source from a rear door speaker. The sub reacted with the curve of the head units volume, but lacked Bass (this point the 6" Bose sub sounded better). They went back to the Bose Sub input and raised the volume control for the sub to make it easier to control everything at once. They assured me they were working on a fix and I went home.

On the way home, I lost sound to the rear speakers, and the mids in the front (maybe the speakers) the only speaker working were the tweeters and the sub. I also ended up losing my turn single blinker sound, and the speakers would pop on occasion. Bluetooth (maybe xm) audio singles will drop for a split second and them come back. Lastly the gauges in the information area of the drivers seemed to be moving or jumping around a little (like a few pixes back and forth) They were not the smooth constant on that I had always seen.

I took the truck back to them to see if they could fix it or return it to factory. Last night one of their guys (who has been there since I started seeing them in 2000) told me that there was nothing they could do right now. That no company would give their blessing to integrate anything into the Bose system (I had asked them to look into JL Clean Sweep). They told me a lot of things last night and went from working for me to fix this to blaming me for my listening style.

I'm worried now about what else may have been affected by their actions, how / can we even fix it or make this work. I've lost total confidence in them now. I'm looking for options and feedback from other people who may have gone threw this or know how to fix it and will i have further problems down the road with things not working.

Sorry to hear that. It sounds like they should have known about the incompatibilityissue with the Bose when you asked them about installing the new equipment.

I would kindly ask them to remove it, get a full refund and install the factory optional under seat sub.
