First time truck buyer

Hi folks! Just purchased a 2015 Silverado High Country and knew there would be good owner info here.

 

Some info: I live in the Ottawa area of Ontario, Canada. This is the first truck for us; I went to the dealer to buy a replacement for a 2010 Buick Enclave and came away with a ruby red beauty of a truck - picking it up on Monday. Should be interesting! Our other vehicle is a 2013 Chevy Equinox.

 

Looking forward to learning about trucks from the members here.

Thanks for the welcome! I plan to add a bed cover and am overwhelmed by what is available. Initial thought is to purchase a one piece solid bed cover color matched to the truck. I don't plan on using the truck bed to haul bulky stuff, just the sort of thing we put into the back of an SUV; golf clubs, case of beer and maybe some groceries! I like the appearance (vendor sites) of the one piece cover and hydraulic lifters. Just started looking for pros/cons info on the forum.

Purchased a color matched Undercover LUX SE bed cover today. It will finish the back of the truck nicely and I don't carry large/high materials. Golf clubs, groceries and a case of beer will fit with ease!
