Chevy or Gmc

Hi to everyone, first post here. Anyways I just recently started shopping for a truck, was pretty open to either the Chev or the Gmc. Is it just me or is the cab on the Chevys a bit smaller inside than the gmc? I currently own a 04 Sierra, It was the first thing that I thought was how much smaller inside it looked. I can't find a crew cab Sierra in the color I want anywhere nearby. There is plenty of Chevys available in the crewcab colors, Chevys a darn good looking truck, but the inside seems to be bugging me a bit. Thxs for any replies, I'm ready for a new ride! Thxs again

Cab sizes of the same are no different. Maybe the Chevy you looked at was a Double Cab like mine which replaced Extended cabs.

I should have prob made that a little clearer, I am coming from a 04sierra ext cab, I have been inside my buddies new Chevy double cab, and the one at the dealer. It was the first thing I thought was man these look smaller inside? Anyways I am shopping for a crewcab, as the family is growing a bit.

Like what SouthernSilvy said, cab size are the same for both makes. So, if you go with Chevy or GMC, the CrewCab size are the same.

You say the Chevy inside bugs you, well the GMC is the same so you may not like that either.

Main difference between these trucks is the body style, that's about all. Powertrain, interior, suspension are the same.....Unless you go with a Denali.

We just had the same debate although we knew the interior sizes were the same. We just liked the front grill better on the Sierra and the Sierra has decorative stitching on interior dash edges, so we went with the Sierra, did searches by cargurus.com to find what we wanted. For a family definitely get crew cab, we like short box, it was big enough for our use.

Not bugging me bad enough to not buy one or the other, it was just the first thing I noticed of the Chevy from the inside, still love the truck. Wishing I could find the Sierra in the color I wanted though. Anyways i won't keep dragging this topic on any longer after this post. Thxs to all, hope to post some pics of the new ride here later.

The Chevy's look way better they remind me of them 88-98 Chevy's that started it all. Cause according to truckin magazine. Iv looked at both and has down the Chevy gets my vote over the GMC. I would like to trade my truck off next year on reg cab short box z71 Chevy.
