New to the group and gmc

Just bought a new 2014 GMC Sierra Texas edition 4 door! I love it! I am in the Powersports industry and have great connection with the local Chevy (eldorado Chevrolet ) and gmc (McKinney Buick and gmc ) dealers. The gmc dealer had a 14 model and they sold the truck 2k under invoice!!

My history is with mopar, particularly the dodge Dakota. I ran a few of the quad cabs, the 4.7 and 5.9 motor. Did the 4/6 drops, roll land, wheels and tires and stereo etc.. My last Dakota was a complete custom, 408 Stroker motor, turbonetics turbo, full diesel transmission, return fuel system etc, this was a mid 6 second 1/8 mile truck and mid 11's in the qtr and 110% street able!!

I am brand new to the gmc line up! I have already done the 5% tint all the way around. I have also just received the 4/6 drop with shocks. I have ordered a set of dub 22's. I plan to keep the stock bumper.

For performance, how does the 5.3 motor take boost? Is this a motor that can take 8-10psi with proper fuel and tuning and exhaust and have no problems?
