Odds are that is not true, on YouTube there is a channel called might car mods where they tested out an eBay chip like that one low price with promises of power and mpg gain. It didn't do anything really.

Don't, I repeat DON'T fall for this crap. I know someone who did. It's a little aluminum box with a 200 ohm resistor on the end of two wires. 25 Cents worth of NOTHING and if you install it, it can blow your engine up. It makes the computer have a bogus reading of the Mass Airflow sensor and makes the computer rich up the mixture just as though it was a cold winter morning start. Your gas mileage will go down to about 6 mpg. Ruins the catalytic converters too!!! I just don't see how these rip off artists can keep selling this total fraud junk. I was VERY dissapointed to see this web sight having that crap advertised on it!!
