I've had many older vehicles and some new.

My new 2008 GMC Sierra had a vibration from day one.

Dealership replaced the axle under warranty. Better but not complete. Also balanced tires and actually changed tires/rims from another truck. The vibration, at this point was minor, but noticeable to me. There was no complete solution.

But most vibration is tires/rims. There is so much that can be wrong with any given tire. Out of round, etc. Some tires cup.

Or a bad rim.

Suspension components.

But most mechanic shops will state that it is the tires. When having tires balanced there are a multitude of machines out there.

Find one that does a pressure balance - simulates the weight of the vehicle on the tire. Some of the older balance machines don't do this.
