Check out the VLED LMZ 3000 lumen bulbs and tweak it so the offset of the center of the LED is at the same offset as the filament in the OEM bulb and you'll get a pure white, much brighter, and still useful fog light that won't blind other drivers, it's a win win!

Maybe that's my issue. How do you adjust the offset?

The VLED LMZs are designed so you can change the offset by adjusting how far you have the collar onto the stalk of the bulb, yours aren't going to be adjustable unless you can find a way to do some really custom work to do it. But even then, the way your fog bulbs are designed you wouldn't be able to focus the light.

wow you guys are quick! no im not even really after it to be brighter it just bugs me that the light comes out orange where all my other lights are hids/leds and just want them to match ... mj with yours do they still give off as much light as the oem bulbs?

eventually i think i want to get one of those roof light bars .... they look awesome and would be good for some the places i drive...

Any bulbs like MJ has will technically be brighter, but since they don't focus the light, there's a lot of scatter. So an 850 lumen LED bulb of his style can seem like nothing compared to the 500 lumen OEM bulb. Been there, done that haha

With HIDs in the fogs you'll get the same effect lol. I've tried those too. Since the offset of where the light is being produced in the HIDs is different from halogen filament offset, the light doesn't reflect properly off the fog light dish, so you get a flood light effect instead. The only way to keep the light on the road is to switch to the DOT approved pods from rigid industries or do the LMZ lights in the stock housing.

I mean, at the end of the day, it's your truck, but personally, I'd do one of those 2 options so you can use them on the road with the knowledge that you aren't blinding others and you'll get the most useful light out of your fogs

Thank you very much I will look into those lights tomorrow! Dot is good enough people flash bright at me with just normal lights on and no fogs.. I don't want to blind people!

This is my All Terrain with the DDM 5000k and LMZ 5000K fogs Mike was talking about. The lights looks a lot whiter than this picture but this shows how it match to DDM

Like Mike says mine seem to be a little brighter going down the road and I think they do "scatter" a little more also which I actually like since I think it lights up the ditches more driving thru the country side.

Which LMZ led model for the fogs?

Thanks.

In my signature, they are the 25 watt ones, with 5202 collars. Use silicon lube to get them to snap in easier or you are going to fight with how they fit.
