Spark Plug

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3l almost 170k miles.

 

I did a tune up on it oil/sparkplugs +wires.

 

The oil was clean. But one of the spark plugs were wet. It wasn't oil so the only thing I can think of is coolant. It was only wet from the threads down (not dripping wet.)

 

My coolant light will come on after filling up the resevoir after a couple months. But I think this is from the water pump.

 

I was thinking maybe the head gasket needed to be replaced?

But I googled it and it seems like it could be a lot of things. . .

 

Just looking for advice on what to do.

If you pull the valve covers, you could find it that it is the issue with Castech cylinder heads....

If it is indeed the heads. ARP has studs/bolts that are reusable.
