Searching for a 6.2L

A quick search of chevy.com in my area show 23 6.2L trucks at local dealers (near st. paul MN).

My dealer found one that meets my criteria, its in upstate New York, and that dealer said hell no to a transfer. At any rate I will be going in today after work to order it. Then the wait will begin.

Just got one yesterday (GMC) for almost 11k in discounts. Go to the vehicle locator on GMC.com, check 6.2 as your option, and just look through the trucks it comes with using the 'view details' button.

Dealership here in Chesapeake Virginia didn't have an allocation for me until July so they are out of the picture now. I am now working with USAA car buying service to find one anywhere in the country and pay to have it delivered to me. Going the GMC route since there is only one Silverado in the country that has the options I want and they refuse to transfer it. I really would prefer a Sierra anyways, but it looks like they are few and far between here on the east coast. At least a black on black SLT CCSB 4x4 6.2L with max tow and cooled seats. Still fighting the fight and keeping the faith. I shall prevail.

That's crazy. When I was looking for mine, I found a few 6.2L 4x4s in the Atlanta area but only 3 2wds which was what I was looking for. I live in Augusta, Ga and had to drive 2 1/2 hours to Newnan, Ga get mine.

When I was looking for my 2014 with 6.2 ,I wanted one with crew cab and standard bed ,I went to a dealer to see if they could find me one and they said there was none available in that configuration in Ontario and that there was only five 6.2's available in Ontario and they where all short beds,so I pain stakingly started going through every dealerships inventory on there websites in Ontario and eventually to my surprise I found one about 100 miles from my home , so I went to my dealer to see if it was available ,they said it didn't show up on there vehicle locater so they called somebody at Gm head office and it turns out it was available,the truck had been ordered and the person backed out so it wasn't showing up onthe vehicle locater,anyway they made a trade for it and I was able to get the exact truck I wanted except for the color which is black I wanted blue but black was my second choice,so yes I am quite pleased.
