2015 Z71 Midnight Edition Silverado 4X4 LTZ 6.2 LEE-TAA Monster engine, Fully loaded errr-thang that's available for this mofo.

Now it's time to find my fellow offroad companions and find all these trails around Houston and see how far in the woods this 4X4 will get me stuck.

So, it took a couple weeks for dealers to find a truck with all the options i wanted in the Midnight edition with the deal breaker has to have the 6.2 engine.

So dealership calls me, says they found one, "come sign paper work and we will have it shipped over". (No biggy, i had to have the GTI shipped down also because of the options not being around the area of Houston.) So i already knew how it was going to go.

So i went down, talks some numbers, they tried to rape me compared to other dealers trying to give me the same thing. So i showed dealer the quotes of other dealers and they beat it by a 100 bucks. Ok, coo, lets get my truck shipped. Three days go by, no call, no nothing. I Call them, everything ok with the shipping? Excuse was "Man the other dealer said it's such a rare truck they don't want to sell it to us." Fine, i understand. So I'm like "ok, where is it, I'll go get it"..."Well we can't tell you, we sign papers and we can't lose your deal and business." Ok, well find another, let me know.

Couple days go by and got a call. "Ok, we got one with everything you wanted, it's sitting in the show room all cleaned up ready for you to test drive and take it home tonight." I said, "Well i have to work late a couple days and i haven't had overtime in, I don't know how many months in this slow ass oil field business. So i don't want to take off early and miss out on overtime". Dealer says "Ok, that's fine, whenever". So two days roll by, get a call from dealer, "Man everyone that sees your truck has to have it, we are turning down deals left and right, If you don't come down here today, we are selling it." "I told you I'm working, and hell no you are not selling the truck, remember you wanted the deal/business, now where is that philosophy?"

It so happen that day the manager was like, "yall go home early and i'll still pay yall for 12hr's". Cool, I can go get the truck. So it still pissed me off that he told me that. So i go in, sign paper work in finance department, give him some playful hell. They had the truck in the "show room area" as they call it. So Sales manager, couple sales man, and general manager are all there when they hand me the keys and go over the basics of the truck, like onstar, door locks, remotes, seats...blah blah blah. I'm like give me keys, I know what I'm doing. The wife gets in the passenger side, and all the dealer employees are like "nice truck, enjoy it" then the guy that "threaten" to sale it, "It's a nice truck huh?" I turned to my wife, "these mofokas being all nice now, **** these bitches!" She's like "No you better not! Your going to get in trouble!" I put that bitch in drive, floor it and leave two black marks in front of them all! All customers turn and look, lmao.

I get a call from one of the salesman "That burnout you did, voided all your warranty". lmao.

I've always been a street racing dude, all my cars have been bought and modded for speed. My brother still has the bug (6.2 silverado with Heads, valvetrain, cam, exhaust, intake...you know all the normal shit a texas truck has)

My 2010 VW GTI. 13.5 1/4 @107mph on 93 (never got to run at the track with my water meth kit on race gas tune) (Beat most of the cars on the high end, stupid Fail Wheel Drive.. I mean Front wheel drive)

Bad Ass truck man. I'm starting to look myself which dealer did you right and which ones would you stay away from in the future, I'm also in the Houston area.

Not sure about OP but I bought my most recent truck from Lone Star Chevy off 290 and Eldridge. Got a pretty good deal there and the sales people were laid back. I'd also recomment mac haik chevy too (bought 2 trucks from them over the years and had good experiences).

Any updates on your truck? I finally ordered a 2.5" level kit for my midnight edition 6.2. If you still have those side steps and want to sell them, let me know - i'm interested.

Glad to see someone else had as much trouble as I did when purchasing my truck. The closest one fully loaded with a 6.2 was about 500 miles away. I went through 2 dealerships after being played around like a darn chew toy before googling the VIN number and finding the truck myself at its dealer.
