All valid. But. How many people really do this? Its few and far between. Most just drop it into D and go. -
Did you do this after the warranty expired? Or still under warranty? I am guessing the warranty would be void. I am trying to find a happy middle ground on this by perhaps keeping the cat but removing everything else. -
Thanks for the responses. Having an issue and not getting support is a real thing and can take the shine of any good product. I had an issue with my iDash recently and Banks went above and beyond to fix it and that makes me want to deal with them on some other future upgrades so it does benefit any company to support the crap out of their products. I do like the looks or the VSE parts but can be hesitant if there is a weak back end to support it. I have their CCV and catch can sitting in the cart but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Just want to get feedback and this helps. @AbzDad have you noticed any change in the amount of build up on the manifold sensors with the reroute?

IMNTBHO; the worst thing for the 6L80 is to be lugged down to low engine rpm while in high gear......AKA, to save fuel. I rarely use D on my '16 with the 6L80 and use M mode to keep engine RPM above 1500 at the speed I'm driving, which is also benefiticial for the tranny because line pressure is kept up because the pump is actually turning a decent speed, and it's not always hunting to drop to the next gear to lower the engine RPM's. Never above 30mph.............M3, maybe M4 if just driving thru a small NoDak town Never above 40mph............M4 Never above 50-55mph.............M5 This is way better for the tranny and the engine.........especially if AFM is still active. 262K miles on my OEM 6L80 as I type this. -
Locally some places holding at $3.13. Not expecting that to last long. Areas I frequent in the DFW area up to $3.69 from $3.03 a few days ago
