Power steering fluid capacity?

I looked online, could not find out how much Power steering fluid my system holds?

Any ideas?

You should be able to download a copy of the owners manual from the GMC site. Offhand I do not know.

Couldn't find it listed in service manual, but under Power Steering Flush instructions, they suggest 4 qt.s for a 3X power steering pump reservoir flush.

I just changed my power steering pump out... i used about 3/4 of a quart when I did mine. 2007 GMC 1500 Crew cab 5.3L. Your amount may vary. put fluid in until it registers on dip stick.
