Read alot of forums about there tunes even talked to justin at blackbear. But want to here what guys are gaining in the real world that have it done to a newer 6 speed. Seems like all the forums I've read are on older models. I am pulling 8000 lb camper 5 times a year or so and I'm looking for a little more power for climbing hills. And no a duramax isn't in the budget for a couple years

Thinking about getting this tune as well. Did you end up getting it done? If so how do you like it. I'm on the fence on wether I should get this vs just correcting my speedo for larger tires.

We have a 2013 Denali XL and a 2013 Silverado (6.2L) as our DDs (both supercharged), we definitely can get your NNBS taken care of :-)

Thanks Jenna, just pm'd you about payment.

For anyone interested I'll post a follow up about how my 2015 2500 6.0 does. I feel pretty safe in assuming I will be completely satisfied as every review I've read on multiple forums have been all positive.

You will be very happy! The 6.0 is very detuned from the factory. It will feel like a totally different truck.

I have also purchased a magnacharger and headers from Justin/Jenna.

Any update on a review for BB tune?

Any update on a review for BB tune?

Ok have had the tune on my truck for a little while now. My truck is a 2015 gmc 2500 6.0 with 35's and a 4.5" lift. First impressions are the quicker shifting in the lower gears. But to first give you an idea of my driving habits, I don't hammer on the pedal or do any racing. I basically drive very conservatively before and after the tune. So I did see an improvement over factory.

I mainly started my search for a tune due to getting over size tires and figured if I'm going to mess with the computer I might as well get some more power at the same time.

One thing I wished would have been better is mpg, I was getting close to 11 before and that's what I'm getting after. I tried 87 and 89 octane with same results. But when I changed to the 91+ tune and put in 93 octane I did see a 1 mpg gain but due to the increase in price I might as well stay with 87 or 89.

You need to go into this with moderate expectations, it's not going to be a Huge difference or at least it wasn't for me. But there definitely was a noticeable gain due to shift points being changed.

Communication for me was great. Jennabear was a lot of help when I needed quick assistance. But when emailing Justin I only had to wait a day or two. Had a few hiccups in the beginning during the setup but was quickly resolved by an email. So I had no complaints in that department.

My truck is completely stock as far as engine mods go so you may see better improvements when paired with other mods. But all in all I'm pretty satisfied with the end result.

So in conclusion my experience with black bear was a positive one. Great people to work with, but if your having issues just be patient and they will get you taken care of. The improved shift points made for a better driving experience, but I guess my only complaint would be I didn't see any mpg gains (or at least when using same octane as before tune). But besides that overall I'm a satisfied customer.

For your year and your compression radio, you should be running a minimum of 89 for optimal results, both for MPGs and HP.

That's what I'm running right now. I tried 87 in the beginning then went to 93, and I'm currently running 89 like you suggested.

Give it a few tanks for the computers to learn the fueling mixture.
