Wrapped or painted bumpers?

I just ordered a new Sierra SLT in summit white, and of course I can't get color matched bumpers since they only come with the All Terrain and the AT doesn't come in summit white anymore. What will look better and hold up better, getting the bumpers wrapped over the chrome, or ordering/finding painted bumpers (don't think that the paint looks good over chrome - kind of wavy)?

 

The wrap is probably half the cost of getting originally painted GM bumpers...I think either solution will also include 3M or some addtl protection against chips....

Paint will chip eventually. I like painted better. Nothing wrong with either. Just my opinion.

Wrap them. I got it professionally wrapped with 3m and it looks perfect.

I'm guessing I'm out of luck finding a perfect match to deep ocean blue, so I might do a grey or anthracite type color.

Plasti dip is also an option if you have the time and patience.

If you can't match the wrap to the ocean blue, then I would paint it (assuming $$$ isn't an option).

If you cant color match the Wrap just paint the bumpers and then clear wrap.

I've looked into wrap for my brownstone and I've found two different ones that are just a shade too dark. You might get lucky and youll find ine that matches blue. Get samples off ebay from metroresryling
