Painted Bumper & Exhaust

I recently snagged a Midnight Edition with the color matched bumpers. Might me worried about nothing but, I've only dealt with the chrome bumpers normally on Silverados.

 

I am wondering if there is any issue with installing a straight piped dual exhaust with a painted bumper. The paint and hot exhaust have me worried it could lead to bubbling issues.

As long as nothing part of the exhaust is actually touching anything then it will be fine. Think about all of the people that have the exhaust come out behind the tire(s) (like me) and the paint on the body isn't showing any signs. I know the bumpers may be a little different, but you should be alright as long as the tip isn't touching the bumper.
