Airbag light cause loss of power in 06 silverado

So I noticed my airbag light came on in my 06 silverado and it seemed to have lost power... I've hooked 2 different obd2 dtc readers to it and it isn't showing a code for the airbags. It just showed the codes for the O2 sensors because I removed the back 2 and the front 2 have been moved from the stock point from the manifolds to the collector of the long tube headers I installed. Do you need a specific dtc reader for airbag codes?

Yup.

 

And loosing power when it comes on makes no sense

 

Try not to look at this yourself unless you have service information and read all precautions before attempting any diagnoses and repair

My money would be on a bad ground... But scanning it is essential like Rob said
