Help With Tracking Truck Order

I just noticed on my dealer's website they have my truck listed with the vin #. Is there any way I can check what stage the build is in with the vin #?

The plant doesn't assign a vin until they have something to stick it on. (just in case something delays or stops the build).

 

If the dealer just has an order number that's a different story.

tracking for me was very frustrating and pretty much a waste of time. If you have an order number you can go to gm chat and request an update or call the dealer
