Need advice buying Sierra CC AT

I purchased my 15 Sierra 1500 CC SB All Terain in December.

MSRP: $51,900

To get me into the door, dealership said they would do 20% Off MSRP. =$41,520

That got me there.

Final Selling Price: $40,000

Financing rate: 1.89% For 72 months.

There was no zero percent for 60 months at the time.

There are two kinds of dealerships....

Those who try to sell higher price and make more profit

And those that sell as low as possible and try to move more inventory. My dealership moved inventory

Great information!! He just got back with me and they aren't going to budge off the 44,058. So I guess I'm gonna hold out and see what pops up over the next month or so. What sucks is for some reason nobody around has very many AT's. He's got 7 in just black and Iridium.

ok to help you out, the line entry on the sheet that says "h/b $1510.95" that is the dealer hold back. That money directly goes into the dealers pocket outside of what the dealer makes on the sale from the point of what they paid for the truck from GM to what you buy it from them. As said, rebates don't matter as that money is from GM. Also the dealer always has some "dealer cash" lying around that GM gives them for use as they see fit. It can be added to deals if the dealer chooses to help make the deal work.

I wish my buddy still worked for the dealership in Chandler, he would have taken care of you. He retired earlier this year to take care of his mom.

Appreciate the thought and info!!! It's funny cause this salesman literally has 30-40 awards in his office for salesman of the month and other awards. He's been there for 21yrs.

AT's have a good look to them ... just too bad you can't get the Air Conditioned Seats, which I like ALOT ... seats get way to hot in the summer sun ...
