I have a 2001 Silverado 1/2 ton v-6 with 337,400 miles that still runs like a charm. I had to replace the catalytic converter at 215,000 and just recently replaced the original fuel pump at 321,000. Other than that just oil changes every 3000 and tune ups every 50,000. Love my Silverado.

I'm most impressed by the fuel pump life! Mine lasted half of that. I'm getting closer to 300,000 now, but I also don't drive it everyday now either.

awesome and welcome.

the v6 in the old style is the first I ever saw of 300k, it had a 5 speed. TBI.

Not a balanced engine...but it kept right on going anyway. work truck half ton.

one of the inspirations over a lot of years.

 

I only guess my own v8 now at 348k is on another engine... might not be. Would not surprise me.

 

the 119 mph road rage leap yesterday says no way its original. :)
