Bushwacker Fender Flares decision

Recommended Posts

I ordered some pocket style bushwacker fender flares and I'm trying to decide whether to keep them black or get them painted. I was just hoping for some opinions.

Keeping them black: less expensive, flows well with the color scheme I have going for my truck (been working on removing all chrome and getting to a blue/black combo)

Color matching: only $200, looks like it came that way, very classy

What would be extremely helpful is if there were some pictures of both so that I could compare. I have a 2015 Sierra 1500 Stone Blue All Terrain for reference.

Thanks

Josh

I say leave em black. If you colormatch, there's chances they will get dinged an chipped from rocks flying out of your wheels.

I never liked the look of everything being 1 solid color on a vehicle. They need some contrast.

If you want black, I would suggest going with bedliner to at least give them a finished look. That's what I'm thinking of doing to match the RB10 running boards I recently put on.

Yeah that looks sharp, and that is saying something because I'm not a fan of flares.

Got them on today. Very glad I went with painted :)

Can I still have my gatorback mud flaps with flares like these...?
