Silverado Transmission Software Update?

Anybody know if they've come out with a software update for the 1500 series transmission yet? My tranny shifting around town sucks half the time. Almost like the tranny doesn't know which gear to shift into. Only notice it in gears 1 thru 3. Mostly hesitations/pauses when accelerating after braking like at yeilds etc. Not all the time but often enough to be a PITA.

Unfortunately, no. An aftermarket tune will take care of the issues if warranty is not a concern. I still can't believe they designed the software so poorly, but that's the way it is on these trucks. Some will say their transmission "learned," and got better. At 16,000 miles, mine is still the same as day one.

Besides the clunking with low speed driving the confused shifting is a huge problem to me. Been like this from day one , as I knew that it will learn was all bs. 10k and my shit shifts and bucks back and forth like a damn horse.

Don't matte at this point , I have my arbitration case next week with bbb and gm. 15 service visits in 11 months means it's time for all my money back.

This transmission thing really bugs the crap out of me. 7500 miles now and the trans shifts as bad as the day I bought it. The trans shifting is so bad that I really don't like driving the truck at all. I'm trying to like this truck, but this is the sticking point. I drive my wife's 2015 Toyota Highlander, and wonder the whole time why Chevrolet can't build a truck that shifts like this!!!

for the last week or so, i've basically just been driving in M5, and only using the gear + to go to 6M when i'm at higher speeds.

leaving it in M5, the transmission has been shifting a little smoother, less clunks, and seems somewhat better behaved. basically, i'm locking out V4 mode, so, taking that tranisition out of the equation for confusing the truck when is slower speed stop/go/crawl traffic and around town.

just a bit annoying that i have to run my truck this way to make up for piss poor transmission and engine tuning.... 20K miles in less than 1 year of ownership, and i've already looked at its current trade in value on the NADA......

Agree ^^^^ I also highly doubt it's any hardware but rather the way the computer was tuned. The 2 service dealers I took it to found it to be completely normal which blows my mind.
