2015 Yukon XL HID headlamps ineffectiveness

Did anyone experienced some issues with the HID headlamps ineffectiveness?

 

The problem I noticed is that low beam is powerless, yellowish, narrow.

 

I have been comparing with other vehicles and SUVs. I was mad to see that a Korean SUV with a price around 1/3 of my Yukon had, by far, better headlamps than me.

 

I was informed that GMC Sierra (2014/2015) had a bulletin related to this kind of issue, but as we know, the ratio of Sierra/Silverado sold vs Yukon and family is very different!

 

My dealer compared both lighting systems but they are not compatible, indeed.

 

And GM says that for now, everything is normal...

Any suggestions ?

Noticed the same thing when highway driving. Do you know what the bulbs are and what temperature? I will probably just get aftermarket bulbs at a 6k temp.

Not for now, and neither the programmed voltage. I will have to ask my dealer.

Are you sure you have the HID headlights? As far as I know the HID are only available on Denali.

Well as far as I know, they both have the same lighting systems and light patterns for 2015.

But it's near a candlelight...
