Built in brake controler

Ok I have a 2007.5 GMC 3500HD diesel with the integrated brake control, when I hooked up to my fifth wheel it used to show on the DIC "trailer connected" and when I pressed on the brake the led dots would increase with the amount of pressure on the brake, now I'm getting nothing, no trailer connected or dots when pressing the brake, I have a trailer emulator that I plug in to the truck and all the lights go on except for the brake controller light it pulses, anyone have any ideas?

Sometimes the pins in the plug get too spread out and need to be pushed back in tighter with a screw driver.

Could be the TBC relay or the trailer brake control module.

What emulator do you have? I looked at some a while ago and many would not work with integrated brake controllers. According to what I read from a few of the reviews on amazon. Like this one: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2CSO8ZOR015PA/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B004BCA9B8

Sometimes changing the stud #2 +12V Power 30 amp fuse will restore power to the brakes.
