ABS Help

I have a 2004 gmc sierra 2500hd with the lb7 druramax 6.6L was driving down the road and the abs light came on so I had a buddy pull the DTC code for me and it said front right wheel speed sensor was bad so I replaced it. After replacing it I thought it was fixed because I started the truck and the light wasn't on but as I went down the road and hit the brakes it popped on and when I hit the brake it pulls to the whole truck to the drivers side like crazy and if I don't counter steer it would have pulled me into oncoming traffic. After it happens the abs light will go off and then the whole thing will happen again when I try to stop again. So for now I just unplugged the wheel speed sensor and the abs light just stays on

abs unit, frame, DS, right in from the DS door, is know to rust, as are the lines, GM will sell you a kit of coated lines for the truck with your VIN number for around 200. Better look there first, good luck! ( yes Hydroboost trucks have this)
