Awesome pics morris

What are the DIODE style of your set? There are some that have the bubble style while others have the smaller square diodes.

Do you have a picture of the entire bulb?

I searched ebay for 4500lm 9006 and many different styles and brands appear, obviously all from china.

I have dual square (flat faced) diodes om each side of the bulb itself. They look exactly like the VLED bulbs before they added the 45 degree shielding on their new ones.

Truck is at the airport back home, wont be able to get to it until I fly home.

This is an older picture, hopefully it js clear enough to see which ones. I have bent the fins so the wires are able to push to the side

Bought a set of ones identical to those off eBay, from a California retailer but there were lots from China that were 3-4 weeks shipping, this one takes a week.

Will update when I get them and try em out.

Morris, where did you purchase yours?

Mine came it, threw them in last night.

I absolutely love how you can adjust the depth of the bulb with the screw collars these come with, in other words you can focus the beams for spread or for distance.

I had them as close to the back of the projector as possible (so just a few turns on the collar in) but I think more tinkering needs to be done as it focused the beams out toward the ditches, and the beams seemed quite sharp and traveled a ways I'll add. If a guy can find the sweet spot like morris seems to have, then these are the best style of led bulbs I have tested (4 different types including Xenon depots)

So since I ran out of time last night I screwed the driver side bulb all the way in and judging from how the beam looked coming out of the projector (didn't do another road test), it is appears similar to xenon depots beam split at this depth but the beams look more intense output wise. I hope to trial again tonight with the passenger side still closer to the back of the projector and the driver side to the front of the projector. From there I'll dial them in for best spread and distance.

Morris, do you know how many turns your's are into the collar?

I screwed them all the way in and then back until the diodes would have faced left and right when it is seated in the socket.

Gotcha, that's what I did on my driver side bulb.
