GulfTango Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I have 13 GB of data on my Verizon plan. Last month we were getting pretty close to the limit and had a road trip scheduled so the day before the trip I purchased the 1 GB plan through OnStar. Halfway through the trip the music just stopped (2 hr drive). I had also listened to music for approx 45 minutes the day I purchased the plan. I called customer service because my OnStar app showed that I still had most of that 1GB remaining. They told me that I had burned through the entire GB. They added 500 Mb and escalated my call. The tech guru called me later and reaffirmed that I had burned through a GB and as a courtesy he would reset it for this month. My issue is that after 6 days of listening to more than 4 hours of music and other smartphone activities with 2 phones I still haven't used an entire GB on my cell plan. Has anyone else noticed or felt like the built in 4G bleeds data? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tssilverado15 Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 When I bought my 15 silverado , I supposedly went through 3GB of data in 3 weeks, I don't even use the phone while driving. I called they escalated it gave me 500 MB. I went thru that driving with my phone off. So now I don't buy any data anymore
