Do these trucks go off even on a steep incline/decline? I had my step dad's Range Rover last night because we went to a wedding and i was the designated sober guy, i drove all home. I left my truck at his house and my driveway going towards the street causes the front sensors to go off.

Curiosity i guess.

Mine go off all the time at low speeds. Really bad in construction areas.

Park sensors or collision avoidance sensors on the rover?

Front and rear park assists on these trucks only work when below 5mph. Range on rear is about 8 ft and on front its about 4 ft.

I'd guess it's possible, but I've not had Park Assist trigger other than in parking situations. I have had GM vehicles with collision avoidance occasionally give false triggers.

Both systems can be disabled.

I believe they are just park sensors as it is a 2007. I just found it weird. But the driveway is steep. So they were sensing the street.

I wanted an LTZ trim without all the sensors. I think they take away the look of the truck... Just my .02. Now if they were flush mouth I would have considered them.

I've seen a few of the K2XX LTZ trucks without sensors and always find it odd. I understand people may not want the features but for a 45k truck I personally believe they should be standard. But I'm also 26 and love technology so to me the more gadgets the better!

I used to be that guy that didnt like any chrome on his truck. No sensors, badges....nothing!

This time around I love the chrome strips on the windows and doors on my SLT. Im also leaving all of the badges on.

I agree with crafferty, I just find it odd when an LTZ or SLT dont have the sensors or center console.

My LTZ doesnt have a center console and I love it! The console would allow me to pile up junk for everyone to see, maybe that's a personal problem. Also my wife puts her purse on the floor there- keeping her happy.

I do have the sensors though...love the bars on the display that give you an idea of distance...much better than relying on the beeps.
