Ltz without sensors

Hadn't seen this before today... A 14/15 Silverado ltz with 17" wheels and no sensors on the bumper.

Mine doesn't have them either. I actually hunted high and low to find mine as most seem to be equipped with the Park Assist.

EDIT: Looks like the available combinations change slightly for 2016, but "front and rear" will still only be standard on High Country, optional on LTZ.

I didn't know this, interesting. Also, I know some people may not want rear park assit but WOW I love mine.

yeah i have an SLT without park assist. I pretty much got a base SLT (because they're already too nice for a pickup truck imho) with the consol, z71, and bose. I figure the camera with the lines is good enough

Why not just turn them off if you don't want them?

I CAN drive too but I`d miss them if they were`t there.

I CAN drive as well but they come in handy in tight spaces or loading a trailer

The one thing I do not like is the button on the console should only by lit up when they are not on. It shouldn’t be lit all the time indicating they are on.

 

Also I can see why some people wouldnt want them in their bumper.

I just use my back up camera to line up the hitch with the ball. I will grant you that it is a bit more difficult without the back up camera, but have done it solo more than once with my old vehicle.
