I have had two different types of headers on my big block chevelle. Dynomax and Hooker both leaked (even with copper gaskets).

I swapped in an LS2 into that same Chevelle and had Edelbrock headers. Even with the better gaskets they still leaked. I would pass on the headers.

Exhaust manifolds are lame and boring but to have an exhaust leak that you can hear ticking is worse than being lame.

Like sprayed99 said they won't help the power down low. In fact I would guess going to larger tubes would hurt power down low.

I think going with the 6.2 is a good choice. But I am biased.

I am doing a catback exhaust but only doing it for sound. I don't expect an ounce more of power, the 6.2 stock has plenty.

Its all about the quality of the part and using the factory MLS GM gasket.

Here is thing I don't get. Magnacharger will stand behind you if you have a failure with their product. Do you think any tuner in the nation is going to stand behind you if you have a failure.... I can answer that for you...NOPE!

If they gave me a set I wouldn't run them.

I listed the store bought headers I would run, but I build my own now.

After searching I have found some 2014 2500hd denali diesel that are in the same price or not much more than 1500 denali with 6.2. I have no real reasons to get a three quarter ton, I am a school teacher and anything I tow a 1500 can tow. Just love the looks of 2500hd and stance. Im I crazy for leaning toward 2500hd denali?

Correct, '14 Denali didn't have MRC.

Yes and no. I had a '14 2500HD Duramax. It was a good truck, but I don't think I could go back to the GMT900 body style. These new trucks are just way too quiet and comfortable, plus the added technology and convenience.

Duramax equipped 2500 Denali won't ride like the magnetic ride control 1500 Denali.

Duramax HD isn't going to ride like a non-MRC 1500.

Where are you located? In the Southeast, '13-'14 LML Denali's with low miles are still going for the upper $40K - lower $50K. If you're willing to travel or get it shipped, you can find a brand-new, 0 mile '15 6.2L/A8 Denali for that money.

Duramax HD isn't going to ride like a non-MRC 1500.

Right about southeast trucks being high Chris. They plate the frames in gold if they're shipped south! Or something. I reckon it's maybe because us old boys just love trucks more than most people.

The only good thing is trucks also hold their value better down here.

what I want.

1-What is a ballpark price to get a vehicle shipped? I bought a motorcycle before from Texas and had it shipped to Baltimore and picked it up there and brought it home.

2-Do all the new Denalis have the running boards?I personally Im not a fan of them. Think the truck looks cleaner with them. How hard are they to take off?Probably just take off and sell.

According to uShip that black Denali in Idaho would cost $1,082.00 to ship to your area. The red one in PA would cost $475.00. So obviously numbers are all over the place depending on how far it is away. Sometimes dealers (especially those that deal with out of state customers frequently) have connections and can get it shipped cheaper.

The Denali has the 6" Chrome step rails as a part of the package. They can be removed in about 15 minutes if you don't like them.
