My truck is a 2014 gmc sierra 1500 SLE 5.3L, 3.42 gears. Toyo M55 LT275-70-18. i Have 32000KM on the truck now. I have had alot of issues with this truck. Ive been back to the dealer countless times.

Issues ive been having.

1. Starter noise at 15000km(dealer replaced starter) fixed

2. headlights kept fogging up bad(dealer replaced light assemblies) fixed

3.major hesitation on acceleration(dealer blamed my K&N filter) not fixed still

4.clicking noise when turnng the steering wheel to the right. ongoing not fixed yet

5.vibration at 80km. been to dealer 5 times for this and still not fixed

6.bolt missing in drivers side rear spring hanger.(missing from factory)

7.major vibration at idle(was at dealer 4 times and couldnt figure it out) i then looked at it and found out my vibration dampener was bent bad and this was from factory as well. I had 21000km on truck with bad balancer. gm wouldnt even change front main seal. I think this could have lead to premature engine wear

8.tranny stays in 2nd gear too long(not fixed)

9.hill decent constantly turns off while in use(4 times at dealer still not fixed)

10.driving on a forest service road with all windows closed dust would come into truck bad and had to pull over. dealer reprogrammed HVAC and its fixed now

11.grease leaking out of left side cv axle.(delaer replaced boot)

anyone have any of these same problems. can you please let me know if your has been fixed

You mileage is because of the bigger and much heavier tires. Do you have a level kit with those tires?

Also, your DIC mileage is going to show worse, you need to hand calculate and account for the extra distance the big tires are travelling.

My fuel mileage are manual calculations not on my dash. Yes I have a leveling kit I understand that the bigger tires will make my mileage worse but I know people with 35's on the same truck and they're getting way better mileage than me

Don't let people tell you mileage sucks bc of your level and slightly bigger tires. I've never gotten what some here on the forums get before or after my level and tires. Yes, a level and larger tires will reduce mpg some....BUT not to 12-13 mpg.

Are you talking combined mileage? I have a completely stock 2015 5.3 6 speed and I get about 13.5 in town. I am at about 6500 miles and the average mileage I get is about 16. I drive 5 miles to work 3 of which are highway.

I have had hesitation issues frequently. The first problem is the excessive motion of the accelerator mount. Look at the pedal and see how much it moves when you push on the pedal. Mine had about a half inch. Dealer put foam under the mount to brace it against the firewall. First time the foam fell out, then they just jammed more foam under there. The other hesitation was with a rolling stop. I was able to get around most of this by doing nothing but rolling stops for about 5 blocks. Accelerate to 30, brake to 5-10 then accelerate to 30 again. It eventually smooths out, but inevitably, the special needs transmission forgets how to take off again and I have to repeat the process.

I think your transmission issues have been covered on this forum. The only ones happy with the shifting either don't know any better or have an aftermarket tune on the transmission.

I'm at 18 lifetime mostly highway. Last 120 miles was closer to 17 and all highway/interstate running 55-70. This last 120 was with level and 33s. Even before the level and tires I averaged 18. I think this sucks and really wish I could get close to what some get here. There are guys with the 6.2 getting MUCH better mpg than me.

I'm going down a steep hill at about 5km per hour I hit the button. It holds me at that speed for a few seconds. Then the hill decent light in the dash starts to blink ad the truck starts moving faster and the hill descent shuts off and the truck starts going full speed.

I think gm here in Canada had false mileage reading on the stickers on the 2014 trucks. My sticker on the truck claimed 31mpg on the highway and 22 mpg in the city. I now look at the 2015 trucks and there alot lower numbers. 1 main reason I bought the truck was because of it

I know that's what was on my window paper. Complete lie from gm. I know I wasn't gonna get that but I was hoping for 20mpg I'm getting 11-13mpg

fwiw, 31mpg imp is about 26 mpg us

Its got just over 12,000 mies, and my 6.2 has never had a tank as bad as 11-13 usmpg.

Most tanks it's about 18-19 usmpg.

Exactly and 3 dealers here blame it on my tires my aftermarket exhaust and my k&n air filter.just for shits and giggles I filled up 2 tanks of 94 octane fuel and it was the exact same mileage

I had a 95 sierra 2500 with the 5.7L with 35 and I averaged 15mpg. My old truck with almost 400000km got better mileage
